Store Policies 



With knowledgeable staff and a century+ experience between them all, you can, rest assured, expect that any instrument you purchase from Spindrift Guitars, is in the best condition possible. Our ENTIRE STORE is maintained at 45-50% humidity year round per manufacturer's stringent requirements. All items will be packaged carefully to ensure their safe arrival to your doorstep. Guitars will be cleaned and set up on a standard play-ability level and/or as low as the strings will go without buzzing. Spindrift Guitars guarantees quality products, fast shipping, and top-notch customer service.



Items purchased from our store will ship out within 1-2 business days upon receiving payment. We will happily ship through UPS, FedEx and USPS, fully insured and packaged with utmost care. *We have had a guitar, being shipped, involved in a train accident, come back to our store in the same condition! 



We offer a 14 day return policy on all of our items. Because we offer free/ reduced shipping on most items, the customer will be refunded the total of the item minus our shipping costs. The customer must also organize and pay for return shipping (packed in the same manner as it was sent and insured for the same value). If you contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item and begin the return process, there is no restocking fee. Past the 48 hour mark, items are subject to a 10% restocking fee.



  • Layaway items can be held in store for up to 90 days. 

  • Items require an initial down payment of 25%.

  • A payment of 25% (or more) is due the 30th, 60th, and 90th day from the layaway contract start date. (Although payments may be made before payment is due)

  • Tax will be added and expected to be paid on the 90th day in addition to the final 25% payment. 

  • The item will ship or can be picked up immediately following payment in full.
