2005 David Bromberg Signature Martin M-42
This style 45 appointed gem is one to behold. All solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides give this guitar a nice treble and a nice bottom end. The top wood is a rare Italian Alpine Spruce. This spruce has has characteristics of being powerful, clear, and vibrant. It also features low profile neck of genuine mahogany and fingerboard and bridge of African black ebony.
In keeping with the archtop features on Bromberg's original guitar, the M-42 David Bromberg Signature Edition's East Indian rosewood headplate bears a 1930s style "C. F. Martin" block letter inlay in abalone pearl and goldplated enclosed tuners with large gold knobs. Style 45 snowflake position markers are centered between F-9 Style white/black/white "racing stripe" inlays that run the length of the fingerboard. David Bromberg's signature is inlaid between the 19th and 20th frets.
Cosmetically, this guitar is in excellent condition. It has been very well cared for over the years. The only wear worth noting is a moderate amount of light scratches on the pickguard and body near the pickguard. No nicks, dings, or dents to speak of.
This guitar is numbered "22 of 83". A very limited amount of these were made and very rarely do these come up on the market. Dont miss your chance to own this very rare instrument. Comes with its original hardshell case
