Introduced in 1987 the "Standard 24" is one of the longest standing models continuously offered by Paul Reed Smith. This Standard 24 for sale here is one of the earliest ones produced being made in 1988 and has stood the test of time quite well. Featuring a solid one piece mahogany body & neck this guitar is all original and has the classic Paul Reed Smith sound and feel that put them on the map. This guitar has been played over the years and has wear throughout commensurate with its age. The Brazilian rosewood fingerboard has player wear especially on the upper board treble side and the finish in that area is worn as well. There are various nicks, dings, and scratches throughout the guitar including dings on the neck and face of the guitar as shown in the photos. This Standard 24 still has its original "phase 1" locking tuners that still work great, og T B pickups, and its original Mill-Com bridge & tremolo system and arm. Purchase of this guitar includes its original hard shell case. This is a great guitar and affordable collector's piece of early Paul Reed Smith history as it was made in the iconic small factory in Annapolis.
